I know I haven't posted in a gazill years, but school has been super busy. Good thing I am on winter break. I spent my first official day of break held up in my house reading one of the most amazing novels ever written: Wuthering Heights. In fact it is this book that compelled me to post.
I started this book this morning and just finished it a few hours ago. I could not stop reading. For the past ten hours this book has become my addiction. I want everyone who hasn't already read this novel to go out and get it. I have never had a book affect me as this one has. My heart has literally been smashed into pieces and emotionally I am a wreck. I had to pause every hour in the middle of reading to give myself a break or else I might have had a literal breakdown. This novel is so heartwrenching and tragic. When I was done I sat for a good ten minutes just sitting and crying uncontrollably. Everyone talks about Romeo & Juliet as one of the ultimate tragic love stories. R+J look like some preteen crush compared to Heathcliff and Cathy. Theirs is the most beautiful and painful love story ever written. I honestly can barely type right now. There are no words to describe this book. It transcends everything I have ever read. So all of you out there pick up this book, but before you do brace yourself emotionally and have the kleenex near by. I promise you, there will be sobbing and your heart will clench so hard that you think it will burst.
I am going to rent the movie tomorrow. This book is just unbelievable. READ IT!! READ IT!!!! READ IT!!!!!!!

I was so good with the updating thing for a while and then it kind of went downhill, but don't worry I am back..for at least tonight. Nothing new has been going on in my world. Everyday is basically the same day to me. Honestly I don't even know what day of the week it is (Don't judge me). I like it like this though. Stress free, Worry free, Exam free...it's a sweet deal I got going on. Too bad it's is all coming to an end in 24 days. Yep, I get back to school in officially 24 days. My pulse sky rockets just thinking about it. I don't wanna go back! I hate tests, studying, homework, and all that other yucky stuff. Plus it doesn't help that I got my AP score in a few weeks ago. I got a 3!!!! How awful is that? I made myself violently ill and studied my ass off for a lousy 3. Unless I go to a college like Sarah Lawrence College (no offense to anyone who goes there) or some teeny tiny school no one has heard of in the modern world I won't get the college credit. I have been subconciously obsessing over this number ever since I got it. Ugh...I know I need to just let it go, but it's hard cause I can get a little oc about these things. That's about pretty much all the typing that I feel like doing tonight. I did take some fun quizzes online a few minutes ago so they're under the cut if you wanna see my results (and yay I didn't get get a 3 on any of them...let it go steffi, let it go).

Woohooo!!!!! I got this new graphic design program and I absolutely am obsessed with it!!! Last night rather than study for my Driver's Ed test i was more concentrated on learning how to use this software (but I still got a 95 so that is still ok). The only problem is that it is really hard to use and it does not have all the features it is suppose to have because I downloaded it online, but still I love it. Here are the first two banners I made with it. It is a banner of Tamara Braun and Sonny and Carly! Enjoy!

I got to practice driving today!!!!! Well, it doesn't really classify as "real" driving, my dad let me sit in the driver's seat and drive around as long as I did not go above 5 mph and NEVER hit the accelerator (well I did once for like a second). Omg I am seriously going to suck at driving. Be warned anyone who lives in the Chicago land area when I get my license, if you stuck behind a major accident chances are I'm probably in it. I guess driving really isn't for me...at all. Tomorrow I am going to Range which should be nice and easy on the first day. I hear we just drive back and forth between those bright orange traffic cones. The only thing that sucks about it is that it begins at 9 AM which is too early for me, but it was the only time my friend Caitlin could make it so *yay* we get to be together.
On a totally unrelated note, don't eat a HUGE slice of chocolate cake for breakfast. Yesterday it was my brother's 21st birthday and my dad got this decadent chocolate piece of guilt (i.e the best and fattiest cake on the planet). Everyone only had 1 slice so there was a lot left over. My family designated me to finish the sucker down in the coming days so I (stupidly) decided to have a slice for breakfast. The whole day I felt so bloated and full. I feel like I gained twenty pounds and when I lied down I think I saw a little pudge in my belly. That made me feel so bad, usually people lose weight in the summer, I on the other hand gain it. Now I'm going to do a crazy amount of sit ups/crunches, afterall my mom's b-day is on the 21st.

I am so pissed. I hate Microsoft so fucking much right now! The little bastards over there practically forced my computer to install Service Pack 2 which pretty much wiped out my computer. One thing lead to another and soon my brother was reformating my hard drive for me and I LOST EVERYTHING on my Computer. That means every artwork I found worthy to save, every brush that i have collected, every font I downloaded, every site I made, GONE (like the wind). Even after I (or more accurately my brother) had reinstalled XP there were still a multitude of problems. My speakers didn't work, my printer was screwy, my dsl connection was on/off etc, I seriously was going to have an ulcer, but in the end all was well...sorta. So now I am redownloading programs and all that other crap into my computer. I also have a Drivers Ed test tomorrow which she neglected to tell us about the day before so I got to work that into my schedule somehow. Ugh....I am just in the worst mood possible. It also doesn't help that I got my hair cut so now its kind of short (but now so short as in I look like a dude, it is maybe about an inch longer than Selma Blair's hair in Legally Blonde). I also had to get my eyebrows pluck which is never fun.
I must continue downloading everything I lost so I am off. See ya.

Quick update. I am so bored right now its not even funny especially since I'm a 16 year old girl home on a Friday night. Pathetic? Yes. At least I am getting time to catch up on more of the summer stuff I was suppose to do like cleaning and some more cleaning. I'm a pig so it is no easy task, we are talking about papers from 3rd grade lodged under my bed .
Anyway I thought I'd channel my boredom and extra energy I still have from NOT cleaning into something more productive (but not as productive as actual cleaning) so I just opened up my PSP and made a couple stuff showcasing my favorite soap couple for my favorite messageboard Time After Time

Hey guys! Hope everyone had an awesome Fourth!! Mine was pretty lame in comparison to what my family and I have done in the past. We also did not do the whole traditional fireworks shebang, but my neighbors went all out. Every two minutes we'd hear a loud *BANG* only seconds later to be followed up with the sound of an ambulance. It was actually kind of funny (does that make me sick?).
I had Driver's Ed today and I can't stand that class. I am such a passanger and not a driver. I figure since I want to live in the city or some kind of busy metropolis (thinking New York) when I grow up all I need to know is how to take the bus, train, subway, and cab...or if I'm lucky enough LIMO, baby!! I just don't understand all the stuff about passing, right of way, signals etc. I guess it is my fault for being the type of person who is more concern with fiddling with the radio while others drove. After 16 years of being in a car I have learned absolutely nothing and besides the steering wheel I do not understand anything on the dashboard. I've never been a very mechanical peson so learning all the gauges and instruments on the car is pure hell. We're having a test on Thursday so I have like 3 chapters to read by then and tonight I don't feel like reading at all so looks like tomorrow after Dancing With the Stars I am going to be studying like hell. Ok, so that was basically my rant about drivers ed. I didn't do much today besides that, making rice krispy treats, and catching up with my excercising. Off to watch Sex and the City now....

Today was a pretty uneventful day. I spent it at home doing practically nothing, but watching the Live Aid concert thing. It was really cool too see so many of my favorite musical acts in one day. My personal highlights were when Madonna (my godess-post kabbalah) sang "Like a Prayer" and when Coldplay and the guy from Verve Pipe sang "Bittersweet Symphony". I have been obessed with that song since "Cruel Intentions".
As you can see later on I changed my layout. I got really tired of the green look. I like the musical "Wicked", but I realized I can't stand the color scheme and having to glance at it. Green is not my color. I think that may be one of the reason why I've updated so little since I put it up (*snort* yea right). Anyway, this layout is dedicated to the show "Sex and the City". I've recently been going to Hollywood Video and renting all the seasons on DVD. TBS doesn't do that show justice. They edit the crap out of it before airing so everything raunchy and funny is booted to the curb. By the way, I think I am IN LOVE with Mr. Big from "Sex and the City". He's kinda pretty hot. *wink*
That's it for today. I know I shouldn't be bored with all the summer reading I still got to do and the drivers ed thing, but I can't help but to not care. Hmmm....does that make me lazy?
Yes.

I was bored yesterday so as you can see I changed the layout! You can read all about the layout on the left. Anyway I was watching "Dancing With the Stars" tonight and it rocked. I seriously want to be a dancer after watching all the celebrities break out their awesome moves. I also did some other things today but they really boring and thus don't warrant a mention her so that's it for today.

This weekend I am going to Indiana! Mu brother is graduating from Notre Dame University and so we my parents and I are heading over to South Bend for all the festivities. Hopefully I can give a full recap on Sunday night! This is a really short entry cause I'm on my way out. Bye!

I am officially done with AP WORLD HISTORY!!! Yesterday I had such a busy day so let me recap it in my step by step play mode:
I got to sleep an extra 2 hours since I did not have to go to school yesterday because of the AP exam. My dad did not know that though so he thought I was late and one thing turned into another. It took a while to clear up, but the important thing was that it was eventually cleared up. Anyway I watched some Oprah and briefly looked over notes after I got up.
Then Jessica came to pick me for breakfast since most of our class decided we should have breakfast together. Jess and me were cruising down 95th trying to find the restaurant which was kind of confusing. We ended up passing it, but Jess, making her very first U turn (claps), was able to get us back there. Everyone was already there already so we came and ordered and had an awesome breakfast it was really fun. The most exciting part had to be when Danielle managed to eat a whole pancake in one bite. It was a very special moment for all of us.
After wards, we decided to go to Circle Park and relax before the test. The problem? Jessica and me had no clue where Circle Park was! We decided to follow one of our other friend's car. We drove for a few minutes before she pulled over and we found out she was going to go to the park later and was actually going to Star*Bucks. We totally felt like stalkers! After that, we just drove around looking for parks for like an hour. It was so awful! The only music we had too was a Jimmy Buffet CD so as we frantically tried to find the stupid park all we heard were verses of Margaritaville. We also almost killed a bird (the story is most funny/exciting/scary than it sounds, but I don't feel like typing it out.
Being the AP geniuses that we were, we finally decided to call Jess's grandma to ask her where the park was. We got the directions and when we arrived everyone was already gone! By then we were kind of cranky so we just drove to school and met up with everyone in the parking lot. Before the test our teacher made us get in a circle and pray which was really sweet. I almost got a little teary eyed. Then for the next 4 hours we were stuck in a stuffy room taking the test. The multiple choice section was pretty easy and so were 2 of the essays. The DBQ was awful though. I had no idea what the hell it was asking. I babbled on for 5 paragraphs about nothing. I really hope the AP readers will be really generous.
Once the test was over Jess drove me home where I collapsed on my bed to relax. Later I baked brownies for the AP party that was to occur the next day (that would be today).
I am so glad the class is over. I now have so much more free time to just hang out and go places on the weekends!

I have been sick all week and it just sucks! I wanted to use this week to study for the history exam on Tuesday, but I ended up going to sleep at 8 every night cause I felt so lousy. I also had to go to school so this week was unbearable. Everything felt like it was spinning while I was sitting in class and I just could not pay attention. I kept getting these feverish hallucinations. Not the most fun thing in the world when you're trying to do tangents and cosigns. On the bright side, I got my practice AP test back with my projected score and guess what? I got a 5!!! That really brightened up my day. I'm feeling better now.
Tomorrow I have to go to this stupid acting thing at school and sit through 2 hours of a plethora (gotta love that word) of plays. I was suppose to go with my friend, but she can't make it. Now I got to suffer through the performance by myself. It's not that I hate plays, but when you have a runny nose and a sore throat connection to a stomach which feels like it can't hold anything down...well you get the idea.
Ok, so now I am in my comfy Pjs and ready to eat some desert (a.k.a Krispy Kreme donuts mmmm I know you're jealous). Good night guys.
Note to Everyone: Family Guy comes back on this Sunday! 4 words: Watch it or Die! lol I am so excited.

Yes, I am still alive but barely after a extremely busy week of report cards, tests, meetings, and just plain lazyness. May 3rd is looming closer and closer and I must admit I'm scared. We took a practice multiple choice AP test in History on Tuesday and I got a 30.75 out of 70 which would have given be a 3 on the test. I was .25 points away from getting a 4 which means I still have a lot more cramming to do if I want to get that college credit and believe me when I say I do. The on Wednesday we had the practice DBQ which was absolutely awful. I suffer from the worst case of test anxiety when it comes to writing timed essay, especially if its a DBQ. I wrote probably the world's most poorly supported and structured essay. I seriously need to learn how to cope with my nerves when I'm being timed. I usually suffer from mini-breakdowns where I just sit for 5 minutes staring at the clock. This is so not good. Then on Thursday I got my report card which was actually pretty bad...lol I got a B in Theology and I've NEVER EVER had a B in Theology before so I was fairly upset especially when I learned I was .1 pt away from an A. Anyway here's my report card:
French II Honors A English II HonorsA Chemistry Honors B Theology B+ Acting A+ AP World History A Geometry A
Well thank god its finally the weekend and I don't have a lot of homework besides for the usual studying. Tomorrow I'm going to my friend Caitlin's b-day party which is going to be really fun. I got her this really cute gift so I'm excited about it. Plus I wrapped it really neatly, I'm talking about bows, ribbons, metallic wrapping paper etc. I went the whole nine yards. lol
Also good news! 2 of my entries tied for first Place in the challenge
Well I got to go now and get ready for dinner. Bye guys.

I finally finished my DBQ and it took approximately 5 hours which I say isn't that shabby. In fact, I think finished early. I am so happy since this is th elast DBQ I have to do for history till the AP exam on May 2....or at least I think. Anyway who cares, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. So now I just get to relax and just chill for a bit till I need to do anymore work.
Yesterday night I was bored and jsut surfing the net and when I was at Tamara Braun Dot Org (BTW: Awesome site for one of daytime's best actress, and I came across this picture and I just could not resist. So I whipped open my PSP and added the text. Take a look:
LOL! I just had to do it. I am a HUGE Sonny fan, but you got to admit that man needs to learn to, as they say in health class, "keep it wrapped". He is up to his 6th child I think, although to be fair only 3 are actually alive and 1 of the 3 isn't his biological child. Sorry I'm in soap mode again. I just love GH.
I guess I should straighten up my room right now since I got some time to kill. *sigh* ok I'm as depressed as I was when I began writing the essay 5 long hours ago...

Ok, so yesterday I wrote out this LOOONG (emphasis on the word long)entry that was, if I might add, magnificent, thought provoking, and pulitzer worthy. So what happened to the post? The son of a bitch got DELETED!!!! It's lost somewhere in cyberspace never to be seen or read by an living soul again. It was my fault though. I am such a moron sometimes. I was typing really fast with a bunch of AIM message boxes opened, anyways I must have accidentally clicked the "X" thingy for my post because the next thing I knew it was about as visible as my third arm ( I could have one, you never know. I'm really mad at the "lost post" as it will now on be referred to in this present entry. Anyway, to surmise the lost post I was basically complaining about stupid quarter exams. They are inhumane, cruel, and downright nauseating. My chemistry exam went the worst because I just plain don't understand anything in the class. Everyday I walk out of there confused with my friend Jessica and we're like "Huh? Was she speaking english?" I have a love/hate relationship with chemistry. I loathe the subject and the theories, ideas, rules etc. that go with it, but I love my chemistry teacher and our class. We have so much fun and it's hilarious.
Well I'm kinda tired now even though I woke up at 11 am because I did not have school today so I'm just gonna relax some more. Tomorrow I'm going to have to start on my DBQ for History which I just absolutely dread. Please don't forget to contribute in sending your condolences to the "Lost Post".
